"Neverland" is inspired by 17th Century Chinese landscape, bird and flower paintings, created at a time of upheaval; not dissimilar to the current turmoil faced in 21st Century life with impending global warming concerns.
Amidst this 17th Century chaos, Chinese scholars and poets chose to create pictures and calligraphy, images filled with a sense of whimsy and kindness, the ‘Truths of Nature’, to overcome the hubris of man.
A butterfly alighting on a moonlit night, forever transcends the mistakes of man.
