Luke Sciberras

Parliament House Art Collection

Scott Livesey Galleries is pleased to announce that a major work by Luke Sciberras has been acquired by the Parliament House Art Collection, Canberra.  The diptych,  Up Shit Creek, Shrapnel Gully, 2014, was a finalist in the 2015 Wynne Prize for Landscape and is a powerful depiction of Anzac Cove.  The work was created during an artist residency on the Gallipoli Peninsula in 2014 and is part of a group of works acquired by the Parliament to commemorate the Centenary of Anzac 2014-2018.
